From 2+ Years to 8 Months

Faced with a project that had an 8 month window for work that, in the Gantt chart showed to be 2+ years, we went with Scrum and managed to complete 90% of the deliverable within the 8 months while actually gaining increased trust from the client. The lightbulb was realizing why things worked… we actually followed the Scrum process for the development work instead of continually trying to bend it back into waterfall.
