How Does a PM and SM coexist?
May 17, 2010
Dear Agilista,
In your experience, how do the project manager and ScrumMaster coexist in the same project? Do they agree from the onset of the project on their respective responsibilities? Or is the project big enough that they can share some of the responsibilities? What is the ideal set-up?

Clients MIA
May 28, 2009
Dear Agilista,
How do we juggle projects to keep a steady workload for our staff when clients randomly go off the grid for a week or more? We've tried having "the conversation" (about how we need them to be more responsive, what the consequences might be, etc.), but it keeps happening. Help!

Can PMs Become CSMs?
May 28, 2009
Dear Agilista,
Seems like the Project Manager's (PM) responsibilities are very similar to a Certified ScrumMaster's (CSM). Do you think PMs usually have a normal progression to become a CSM or is it difficult to move them from command-and-control to the servant-leader concept?

When is the CSM Test Coming Out?
May 03, 2009
Dear Agilista,
I hear that going to two days of Scrum training isn't going to be enough anymore to get certified as a ScrumMaster (CSM), and that now we have to pass a test. Is this true? When is this test going to come out?

Leftovers Always at The End
Apr 27, 2009
Dear Agilista,
My team never finishes the work we committed to in the iteration. No one seems bothered by this, and the product owner never gets mad. Is what we're doing okay?
